Memorial Glass Experiences on Guemes Island
At our studio, Beacon Glass Center, on beautiful Guemes Island, we offer something truly special: the opportunity to co-create hand-blown glass art that holds the memory of someone you love. Whether honoring a cherished person or beloved pet, we incorporate a small amount of their cremation ash into molten glass, transforming it into a lasting work of art. More than a product, this is an intimate and healing experience—one that invites you to be part of the creation. You are welcomed into our serene, light-filled studio to participate in the process. You choose the colors, the form—be it a heart, orb, mountain, or feather—and even the music that fills the space while we work together. With care and guidance, we shape the piece as you witness, and often assist in, the birth of something beautiful and meaningful. We’re here to support you through every step, holding space for remembrance, creativity, and connection.
The ashes rest within a paperweight adorned with a snow-capped mountain, a peaceful tribute.
